PRESSURE VESSEL MECHANICAL DESIGN / PROJECT ENGINEER



PRESSURE VESSEL MECHANICAL DESIGN / PROJECT ENGINEER required by our Client in West Yorkshire to further strengthen their design team due to an increase in orders. As an experienced Design Engineer you should be highly conversant with the design and manufacture to the following pressure vessel design codes & guides: ASME, PD5500, EN13445 & PED (CE marking). The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of pressure vessel products in a broad range of industries such as Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Chemical & Pharmaceutical, and be highly proficient with the following design software: Finglow, Compress, PVElite and AutoCAD 2000 or above for drawing. Qualified to a minimum of HNC in a mechanical engineering discipline. Your role will include producing design calculations and fabrication drawings to customer specifications & design codes, creating Bills of Materials to facilitate release of orders within customer timescales. This is a full life cycle role, and so you will be responsible for project managing multiple projects from order placement through to completion. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
