Machine Design Engineer



Due to a continued growth period are client is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.



You will have a background of machine tool design/redesign. Designing special purpose machinery. Responsibility for all mechanical facets of the project from initial concepts through to production / completion. You will also be responsible for meeting the clients exacting requirements for document and quality control.



The successful candidate will have previously worked within a mechanical design role preferably within a precision / machine tool industry and will have experience of using 3D CAD software, preferably Autocad.



You will be able to carry out supporting calculations relating to designs.

This role will require you to deal with both clients and suppliers and will involve some UK travel and some occasional European travel
