A major provider of advice and support services to young people and adults in the Bradford District.



Duties & Responsibilities



Do you have experience delivering literacy and numeracy qualifications to 16 - 19 year olds as a Basic Skills Tutor / Key Skills Tutor / Skills for Life tutor / Functional Skills Tutor / E2E tutor? Do you have a recognised teaching qualification?

The successful candidates will have the necessary skills and attributes to make an immediate impact to the role.



The role will involve:



Working with 14 - 19 year old learners working predominantly at entry level of level 1

Delivering accredited Personal and Social Development / Functional Skills / Vocational subject based learning and providing information, advice and support

Completing individual learning programmes with learners

Establish and maintain relationships with outside agencies to ensure effective progression routes for young people on the programme



Requirements:



Teaching qualification minimum level CTTLS

Ideally with a Skills for Life qualification in either English, Maths or ICT

A proven track record of working with disadvantaged learners

Previous experience delivering literacy and numeracy qualifications to 16-19 year olds

Previous experience designing learning resources
