Summary
An excellent opportunity for a qualified Engineer with experience working in the pharmaceutical industry to join a pioneering company in Leeds. This role will require strong knowledge of AutoCAD.

The Role
This is a new role to help design and relaunch the GMP production area. You will ensure that all equipment on site is checked and documented as required by HSE legislation and GMP guidelines, maintaining all site building facilities & utilities, leading investigations into root cause of non-routine downtime and ensuring resultant actions are closed out to increase plant reliability. You will be responsible for the management of engineering specific quality systems to ensure that they pass rigorous FDA&MHRA audits. You will be allocated the management of mid-size Capital projects related to the sites plant, facilities, infrastructure and utilities to ensure that they are safely completed to cost, quality and time standards.
As a qualified and experienced Pharmaceutical Engineer, you will take ownership for the implementation and ongoing updates of the engineering aspects of MAXIMO CMMS ensuring ongoing optimal maintenance and calibration when applicable, updating of masters drawings and other engineering documentations (DRWs, WRKs, SOPs etc
) using AutoCAD system and Microsoft tools. You will set up lead cross functional teams to ensure root cause of non- routine downtime is identified and drive through suitable Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) to prevent reoccurrence.

Experience
The successful candidate will have a formal Engineering qualification, together with experience gained in a Pharmaceutical GMP environment. You must have very good understanding of AutoCAD, quality systems, change control, maintenance, SOPs, and Engineering drawings. You will have good knowledge of site equipment and services.
You must be an efficient, approachable individual with an excellent problem solving and decision making skills with strong focus on continuous improvements, processes, systems and documentation.
